In the video you just watched comedian MoniQue has taken to social media to “sing for her supper” and recruit the to help her get a bigger bag from Netflix for a standup comedy special by boycotting the streaming giant completely.

It’s gonna be a hard “NO” from me, but I do support her campaign.

Monique’s argument is that her resume demands the money as Amy Schumer, Dave Chapelle, and Chris Rock. She feels like her name is of equal marquee and it’s putting everyone in an awkward position.

I don’t see it for sis, but I can’t let how I feel about her entertainment worth determine the value SHE sees in herself. And if she thinks she’s a $15-20 million dollar act then it shows me why she isn’t working.

I’m not a fan of Amy {IN THE LEAST}, but I’m pretty sure she’s not on Oprah’s Blacklist, so you have to take that into consideration. Speaking of that blacklist, last time we heard from Monique she was gnashing at her breast in the digital streets saying that Lee Daniels said she is on the blacklist, but here we see Netflix is trying to hand you a bag and it’s your negotiation tactics that are trash.

Had sis played it smart she would have taken that bag, pushed the marketing herself if she had to, and gave the stand-up that would have everyone talking {I mean the previous comics were “good”, but they weren’t that “good”}. She could have turned this into a BIG comeback and used it as leverage to renegotiate for more money.

Who Monique IS and who she THINKS she is might be two different people and there seems to be no reasoning of the two in her mind.

I said all that to say I’m not boycotting Netflix sis. I’m watching it now as a matter of fact.

But good luck. I mean that. I want you to win. I just don’t care if you don’t either. I know Sheryl Underwood has been trying to talk to you and get you back in the elite’s good graces, but these white girl tactics aren’t the way Teedy. The #MeToo movement isn’t going to work out for you like how it looks on Twitter.

Black people couldnt give up football, so you know they not giving up ghetto cable!

Do you think MoniQue will be able to secure the bag? Qomments always welcome.
