I guess I feel this way…. NO ONE was talking about the Harlem shake until people started making videos.  Pick your battles people cause trust me we have bigger.   So some white people made videos and titled them “Harlem Shake” and guess what?  Everyone is talking about the Harlem Shake again.  Which in turn gives Harlemites the opportunity to come out and do the real Harlem Shake.  Why did it have to turn into some civil rights march.  Will I be required to learn a new hymm and load up on white candles now?  Blacks want credit for shyt that doesn’t even matter.  In a month NO ONE will be talking about it again!  Fine..you don’t want anymore Harlem Shake videos. In my opinion they were a refreshing break from all the blacks beating the shyt out of each other on WorldStar Hip Hop, but let’s go ahead and talk about how our culture is being stolen instead.  Such a travesty of justice.  Blacks have become that brat that stops playing with a toy, but gets mad when he sees someone else playing with it.  Let’s not mention the fact that there many blacks are making these videos as well.  I guess we’ll skip right over that and focus on how offended we are that whites would dare LIKE something that we do.  Curses to anyone who would see this as a way to bring us all together rather than make it another bone to fight over.

Spare us the ballroom comparisons as well Ms. Perry.  Ballroom dancing is an organized event backed by lots of money with yearly competitions.  I wasn’t aware that there was an annual “Harlem Shake” competition.  I must have missed that.  So yes, let’s get back to making those fine examples of Black culture.  Lemme see…..which is more damaging to black culture?  Whites dancing badly or the whole damn block beating each other down to the white meat?
