To my loyal Readers,
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of narrating the Qulture Sagas of society from New Orleans as The VitaminQ. Along the way there have been milestones and scandals, but, nonetheless, Qulture moves on and the sagas continue.
There aren’t many things I enjoy more than putting written words together, but that passion is exceeded by seeing those words come to life. Which is exactly what Dennis Holt of Art2Facts Films has done for me in filming and producing my Qulture Sagas.
The first entry, “Lust For Life“, is a dramatic reinterpretation of Lust For Life by Lana Del Rey. There was a point in this year where the Qulture Shifts we’ve experienced since Trump became President left me discouraged and uninspired. Artists are sensitive, and watching the villains win is discouraging. We retreat. During this retreat I came across Lana’s monologue and thought she really captured the essence of what many Qreatives go through daily to put out art that’s true to themselves but still connects with the audience. So I remixed it to reflect my own story. DJ Big Abe of Hot 103.7 mixed a track. And Dennis Holt brought that vision to life in this short but honest visual that illustrates the perspective of The VitaminQ that might be missed in translation through the electronic veil.
So however you’ve come to know me over the years please know that narrating these Qulture Sagas for you, engaging with you, and Qreating for you has been my Lust For Life!
More Qulture Sagas to come in 2018!
