In 2017 Bodak Yellow rapper Cardi B and Migos member Offset presented themselves as the new Hood Relationship Goals after getting engaged onstage and hearing Offset’s name in anything Cardi rapped. And in following with that title we now have to experience all the toxic dysfunctionality that comes.

I swear I tried not to care. I truly did. After the first tape was leaked and cardi recorded that God awful video of Offset “dry humping” her from the back with eyes full of pain looking straight into the camera I chalked it up to a rapper being unable to be faithful and Cardi being fully aware of what she signed up for.

But with even more beautiful bean footage leaking of Offset laid up with yet another paramour we have to wonder if this is a REAL relationship or if Cardi is just getting walked all over.

Enter Chicago rapper King Yella whose been trolling Offset on Instagram and rapping about his previous relationship with Cardi B and the fact that she still hits him up.

{I should add that when your relationship starts getting too many supporting characters things are headed downhill} He posted several Instagram posts from their previous “relationship” and then he posted himself receiving a phone call from Offset himself. {Try to remember these are all grown straight men}.

{Everyone has a past. And when you get famous the lamest ones will always claim you the loudest}

King Yella looks like he’s just trying to get his followers up {35k and counting}, but those sextapes are real and so is all this ghetto mess.  I know Cardi recently had to defend mentioning offset’s name in her raps so much. Citing that she’s completely in love, but is this really love? Don’t forget you’re not too long from the pole sis, and while I don’t hold that against you {Nor should anyone else} that lifestyle could altar your perception of what a healthy relationship is.

I know Jay-Z has all the kids feeling like the only way to keep a power couple together is to let a man cheat then rap his apology for clicks and praise from daddyless sons, but that whole “You gon lose your wife” threat isn’t working as good as Beyoncé would have the kids believing it is. Professionally you’re making all the right moves Cardi. But you can’t sell scrappy tough girl while a neggah is dogging you out sis. At least on your own you know your success was all your’s and your failure wasn’t because of someone else.

This was a shade free space.
