I was reading some threads on a strugglers page and of course they were giving each other relationship advice. The subject of someone’s reputation was brought up and another person commented that that person has a bad reputation in the “Hood”. I’m thinking to myself “Isn’t the Hood a bad reputation in itself?” I mean think about it. Name one positive thing that anyone says about the “Hood”. I’ll wait. Nothing? Me neither.
Most of the thread didn’t realize that outside the Hood they all have the same reputation, so maybe they should stick together or at the very least show a little understanding. Not trying to sound elitist at all, but hood n*ggas will hunt all the females on the block and make turning them all into freaks their life’s mission then spend just as much time calling all the females on the block “Hoes”. never made much sense to me. Wouldn’t you need them to be “hoes” to validate your sexual confidence? Hood women will sleep with men who they know are in relationships then go around complaining about how none of the dudes are faithful. It’s like I’m taking crazy pills. Men will drag a woman for having multiple kids and as many baby fathers, but will have just as many kids and baby mothers.
It just baffles me sometimes that they are see each other as competition when in actuality they’re each other’s support. I also have to wonder to myself “What exactly is s bad reputation among this type?” I’m wondering exactly when do you develop this “bad reputation? Afeter the third baby or fourth? After the fifth jail stay or the seventh? Someone help. Alll I ask for is guidance. What do you think? Does it ever appear hypocritical to you that so many people who do the same thing as the next have nerve to talk about someone’s “reputation”?
