Anyone whose followed me for a day knows that VitaminQ has officially dubbed New Orleans “New Gotham.” The locals HATE it. They swear I’m negative and just try and paint the city in a bad light. They proclaim “It’s like this everywhere!” As if it’s normal that the music doesn’t stop to clear away dead bodies. I don’t waste my breathe arguing with them anymore. The proof is in the crime statistics no matter what our inept mayor says.

However troubling the increase in murders and violent crime has been since the weather became nice enough for the criminals to freely terrorize us has been today has been a uniquely dirsturbing on. So far today three dead bodies have been found in as many public places around the city. Officials are being tight lipped about causes of death, but it’s clear these aren’t heatstroke victims.

From WDSU:

Police are investigating a third body that was discovered in New Orleans on Thursday.

The latest discoverywas made shortly before 1 p.m. at Lee Circle. The cause of death was deemed unclassified until the Orleans Parish coroner can perform an autopsy.

No further details were available.

Earlier Thursday, police discovered two other bodies found in New Orleans.

Shortly before 7 a.m., a body was found on Interstate 10 east near Bullard Avenue. The roadway was closed for several hours as police worked at the scene. No further details were available.

About the same time, another body was found on St. Peter’s Street near the river. The cause of death was unclassified. No further information was available.

I don’t know about you all, but I’m going to need some further details real damn quick. We’re already about as safe as a new prisoner on the prison yaard in this hellmouth of a city. If there’s potentially and even more demented sociopath on the loose who stands above the normal psychopaths we stand in line with at Popeye’s then the citizens deserve to know.

Qmunity, how long will the mayor lie about crime for his “I brought down crime” narrative?
