Another week brings us more segments of “Kicking With VQ” on Hot 103.7 with Big Abe and we had A LOT to talk about this week. Quantasia Sharpton, New Orleans floods, and war with North Korea took front and center this week!

We started with Quantasia Sharpton. She’s the woman who held a press conference announcing she was suing Usher for exposing her to herpes during casual raw sex when she met him backstage at a concert celebrating her 19th birthday.

Because she’s a big girl the conversation turned into think pieces on “fat-shaming” instead of a way more important one about safe sex practices. But we always seem to get around that one. Listen here.

Then we moved on to the failure of the pumping system here in New Orleans causing flooding throughout the city.  The failure led to several firings and resignations at the Sewage and Water Board, but no accountability from the mayor. Just more lies, deflections, and blame.

New Orleans saw way too much money come to this area after Hurricane Katrina for the city not to have the best pumping system to protect property that homeowners have invested a lot of money in. Not to mention there is always a new tax hike.

Just an update..since then we are currently experiencing more storms and Mayor Mitch Landrieu as declared a state of emergency. I’m sure this last month of hurricane season will be fun.

Abe decided to close it by asking my about The Mad King President Trump and his response to North Korea’s threats.

Well that wraps it up. Thanks to all those who listen live locally, those that downloaded the Hot 103.7 app, and those that listen and share these playbacks! Thanks for your support!
